Today i will be starting a blog for my year in Osaka Japan, and in this post i'll go over what will be happening on this blog and what i'll be doing in Japan! so first, a little about me :)

nationality: full Japanese, Nikkeijin (Japanese born in America), Yonsei (fourth generation, technically I'm 4.5)
age: 15, im a halloween baby ;)
grade: just finished freshman year, St. Mark's School of Texas
hobbies: drawing, photography, singing, songwriting, piano xD

so i decided to go abroad this year because of one thing: I LOVE JAPAN. thats it. I love everything about it. the food, the people, the language, the culture, EVERYTHING!!!! I have been to Japan multiple times before, and every time theres something new that captures my heart. Even though i have been before, I never thought that any of my experiences really revealed what living in Japan is truly like, and so when i was approached by my parents about taking a year there, I couldn't refuse! so now im going to Osaka Japan to homestay + study at st. Andrews, Momoyama Gakuin, for a year :) I'm not nervous, I'm not scared, but I am SUPER EXCITED!!! I don't know what's in store for me this year, but I can't wait to see!! haha I don't even know who my host families are and I leave in a month! definitely not prepared fully yet, but I'll get there. I just can't believe I'm going to Japan for a whole year! I can't wait!
so I'll try and post as much as I can, but the goal I've set is at least once a week. also I might start a vlog so keep your eyes peeled for that! I'll do my best to post every week, but if I forget, please get mad at me!
